Look! Drew Barrymore’s character is such a fun-loving guy’s girl! She watches sports and who cares if she has sauce from chicken wings on her face! What a down-to-earth character completely different from any other female lead in any other romantic comedy!
Sauce on the face, but not on the fingers. That means that she’s so down to earth that she simply eats the hot wings off the plate like a hungry dog, gnawing bones into a digestible pulp while she does it. So yeah, maybe she really is something special.
