michael mcdonald is kind of a musical geezer, having attained fame with the dooby brothers. my dad likes him.

dude sounds pretty weird with grizzly bear, and at first it’s hard to cut through the cheesy sound he’s got going for him (dude sounds like a parody of himself). but it’s undeniable that he slays it on this song in some incredibly peculiar way—about as peculiar as him singing it in the first place.
