william kamkwamba built a windmill from scratch in the front yard of his home in a tiny village in Africa… when he was 14. Talk about an inspiring story—the kid taught himself how to build it by working his way through books written in English (which he could only partly understand) and referring to sketches and diagrams. O humanity triumphant! Take a lesson in badassery from this utterly humbling beacon of success. At the least, this dude deserves a pre-trained pet hawk.
