subversive champion of the day: “Robert Erickson”
Proving just how hollow, vacuous, jingoistic, and retarded the dumb “tea party” rallies have been, this kid—in an act of subversive heroism the likes of which are rarely seen if only because few people are both this ballsy and this clever—manages to get a crowd of them to jeer the European takeover of the Americas (they’re too stupid to realize what they’re jeering. because it doesn’t matter. because none of this means anything) and collectively cheer: “Columbus go home!”
That’s right. This kid spoke against the European colonization of the Americas from the perspective of the Native American population to a bunch of tea baggers and they were too busy being a moronic horde of bogus apes to notice. Dude even cited smallpox as one of the many evils these immigrants are bringing with them. Smallpox.
You win, “Robert Erickson.” And all you did was speak angrily and rail against some vaguely “other” ethnicity, blaming it for crime and joblessness and the recession and whatever other ills are plaguing the nation—proving just how meaningless, empty, and transparent the whole childishly insincere teabagger movement is. Right to their faces.
