by the red cross’ tally, 45-50,000 people are dead in haiti. that number will continue to grow.

what’s uplifting is this: according to NPR, over $3 million was raised via small donations like text-to-donate and other microdonating sites in less than 2 days. this is the future of altruism, by the way. get on board. because with small things like this, we modestly compensated kindly folk can make a real difference in the same way that we buy pizzas and kegs at parties.
